Currently, the U.S healthcare system is seeing a downfall in its overall infrastructure and system. Despite being one of the high-income nations, this downfall is bothering too many people in the U.S, especially it is threatening healthcare leaders like Christian Fletcher Lab LifeBrite’s CEO. He has been trying to take a paradigm shift of this healthcare arena but failing to do so so far because of the incorporation from the other side. But why are we seeing this deterioration in the U.S healthcare system?
When asked Fletcher, he responded that there are three prime reasons behind this downfall. And these three reasons are what we will be talking about in this blog. So, let’s get started
1. Oversight for Insurance Payers
This is one of the major issues that the government is facing. The entire healthcare system lacks a clear direction which leads to the oversight of the insurance payers. Fletcher stated that there is a growing premium for patients and there are no suppliers assisting them.
With this rising cost for healthcare facilities, patients are often refraining from getting treatment. This needs to be fixed soon in order to prevent this deterioration in the healthcare sector. Else the life of people will be in danger.
2. Increased Cost Of Medical School
There has been a rising cost in medical school when the students should be praised to choose life-saving professions. Students are never acknowledged for choosing such brave professions and as a result, they feel unworthy. And considering the rising cost of the medical sector, most of the students prevent getting into these medical schools.
This is one of the major reasons for this downfall of the healthcare system as they are unable to attract the best talents of the country. According to Christian Fletcher lab LifeBrite CEO, students should be praised and the salary should be competitively higher than the other professions so that people feel attracted to join the profession without any hesitation.
3. Conflicts Between People
There has been a rising conflict between people of healthcare providers and the payers. This is also one of the leading causes of the healthcare system’s downfall. Therefore these conflicts must be mitigated in order to create a clear and concise healthcare system. When asked for the solution, Fletcher said, “the main change I’d advance is one we at LifeBrite are as of now pushing toward esteem based consideration. We should keep on making motivators for when suppliers perform quality administrations that keep patients motivated and improve quicker, as opposed to empowering high assistance volumes.”
In order to prevent this downfall of the healthcare system, these reasons must be taken into consideration and deal with accordingly. This will improve the country’s healthcare system and the patient’s health as well. Medical laboratory-like LifeBrite is taking their steps towards this and this is the time each and every healthcare leader should take steps for the betterment of the country.
